It was a great day for Sondz, Spicy, Desert and Ghosty.

They had planned a game of mario party with the 4 of them, for a few reasons. The main reason was because they hated not trusting each other. Another unspoken reason, but everyone knew about it, was that they all wanted an alibi, they didn’t want to become suspects for the murders as well.

Sondz was at the house, preparing everything needed to play, so Spicy went over to Desert’s and Ghosty’s house and knocked on their door.

"Come in.” Desert said.

Spicy entered the room and asked “You two ready for some mario party?”

"I am, but Ghosty isn’t."

"I said I would in a minute.” Ghosty retorted, “I have to finish up this page I’m on real quick…”

Spicy looked at the book he was reading, it was an outdoor wilderness survival book.

"And… done.” Ghosty said, putting a bookmark in the book and closing it.

"Good.” Both Spicy and Desert said at the same time.

Spicy went to the door and tried to open it, but it was locked.

“Umm… who locked the door?” Spicy said, worried.

"What do you mean?" Desert said, trying to open it, but failing as well. "Oh, lock must have acted up again…. Where’s the keys?" Desert was looking at the keys rack, the key that was missing was the door key.

"I have no clue…" Ghosty said

Suddenly, the sound of loud footsteps filled the room. Fear was sinking into the three of them…

Then, a high pitch voice sounded from the vent in the room.

"Hi!”

All three of them looked up, seeing that there was a kirby with keys in its hand.

They all sighed a breath of relief, knowing it was just a kirby that was playing a prank.

Kirby, give me the keys.” Ghosty said.

The kirby jumped out from the vent and onto the floor, and started walking towards ghosty… Then, the kirby ate the keys.

"GET HIM!” They all yelled as the gave chase to the kirby.

I sighed in my house, retracing the evidence that had been found or told,

Octo was the first found dead, shot by a revolver in the head, he was shot from the inside by a surprise attack and that it only took one bullet to kill him, but what was weird is that they never heard a gunshot once.

Next off was Venera, who died in a mixture of ways. Fire, explosion and being crushed, it was unknown which killed zer first, only that they died in one of those three ways.

And finally, 360, who, I would have to trust Vert’s word for, committed suicide to let Vert free, as fishy as it sounded, Vert was never known to be the lying type and he also didn’t appear to be lying.

I then thought back, trying to think of a reason why we didn’t hear a gunshot…

One theory was that it would have been a suppressor, but I quickly doubted that one, due to the fact it just muffles the gunshot, and it still would be possible to hear it.

What else could it be… wait a second...

The assassin…

Thinking back, the assassin’s gun wasn’t silenced, and it went off multiple times. The gunshot could have easily been disguised in there, and the fact that the assassin wasn’t good also helps the theory that it was a distraction.

"That’s a good theory!" I complimented myself in thought.

But I decided to wait a little longer before speaking about it, right now, I just need to have a level head before I do anything yet...

I walk towards the forest, and notice FireTiger there with a bow and arrows, aiming at an animal...

I then turn back, don’t want to ruin his chance of hunting...

The room was a mess, the kirby was slippery, as soon as you were to dive to tackle it, it would already be somewhere else.

"DAMN IT KIRBY! JUST GIVE ME THE DAMN KEYS!” Ghosty yelled in frustration as he tried to tackle the kirby again.

The kirby jumped out of the way, and Ghosty slid across the carpeted floor.

They were all out of breath, but the kirby seemed to never tire.

The kirby then started to fly back up to the vent.

"OH NO YOU DON’T”

Ghosty jumped into the air and actually managed to tackle Kirby, the sudden impact made Kirby spit out the key.

"There… we go… we got… the damn… key…” Ghosty said out of breath.

"Finally… let’s just… get out… of here...” Desert said, also out of breath.

Suddenly, the sound of breaking glass filled the room.

"Kirby…” Ghosty said, looking at the kirby, who gave Ghosty a confused look,

Ghosty then realised that no broken glass was in the room.

"Oh, nevermind…”

Then they went to Spicy’s and Sondz’s house, Spicy unlocked and opened the door, and then gasped.

Sondz was dead in the room, broken glass from the broken window was on the floor, and an arrow was in Sondz’s neck, a small puddle of blood was on the floor

"What’s th- OH WHAT THE HELL?” Desert said, noticing the body.

"He’s… he’s dead…” Ghosty said, shaking, “He’s very much dead…”

Spicy checked his pulse, even though he knew it didn’t matter. There was no pulse, he was dead.

FirePyre was known as the best baker in town, sure, he was the only baker in town, but because of that, he’s the best.

The customers in the bakery currently are Yami, Matt, and a bunch of anons, FirePyre didn’t really care about who entered, but suspiciously enough, whenever an anon either gave a bad name to FirePyre’s bakery or vandalised it, they would be found dead hours later. Of course, the detectives were unable to prove that he actually was the killer of those anons. Anons started to spread rumors spread about that FirePyre bribed or threatened them to keep it a secret, but the anons that spread those rumors were ALSO found dead hours later. And once again, the detectives were unable to prove FirePyre killed those anons as well. It eventually became known as the “Bakery curse”, as if you spoke ill about the bakery or the baker, you would be killed hours later.

It really was like any other day, people entered the bakery, bought baked goods, and either ate at the bakery or left. He got paid, he gave great food, everybody was happy.

Yami then entered the bakery, who was the town’s mayor and main leader, and also the newest main leader.

"Could I have a coffee?” Yami asked.

Of course, it was expected for everyone to have a coffee these days, everyone knew it was either sleep and risk never waking up, or stay up and stay alive. So it was expected that coffee would become a popular drink, but FirePyre didn’t increase or decrease the price, as he knew that even if he had all the money in the town, it would mean nothing if he died, but if he decreased it, he wouldn’t have enough money to pay for the funds for more coffee beans. So he kept it the same.

He went and brewed another coffee.

"Hey! What are you doing?” Yami yelled.

FirePyre looked over his shoulder, and he saw Yami riku yelling at a few anons that were in the corner, creating vandalism.

FirePyre sighed as he went over there to help deal with the chaos, a few minutes later, the anons were knocked out on the floor as Mattbab dragged them away to the jail.

"Well, here’s your coffee, Yami.” FirePyre said as he handed her a coffee cup.

"Thanks.” Yami said, as she took a swing of it.

FirePyre went back to painting back over where the Anon’s had vandalized, it wasn’t much, but it sure was something to fix.

When FirePyre was done, he turned around, and saw Yami staring blankly at the wall.

"Yami? You okay?” FirePyre asked as he waved a hand in front of her.

Yami then dropped her coffee cup and fell on the ground.

"Yami? Yami?” FirePyre said as he shook her.

No response.

"Oh no… please don’t say that it happened… please don’t say it happened…”

FirePyre ran back and grabbed some cold water and opened it and poured it on her...

Still no response.

FirePyre sighed, it was looking bleaker by the minute, but he knew there was only one way to tell for sure if she was actually dead or just very well faking it.

FirePyre went and checked Yami’s pulse….

There was none, Yami is dead
